My wellies

The keen-eyed amongst you may have noticed that my wellies have changed. I know it isn't very environmentally-sound to buy new things before the old ones have worn out, but I'm afraid I impulse-bought my old wellies from a cheap shoe shop in Oxford and they never fitted very comfortably, so they're off to the charity shop to make way for...

Aren't they great? They come from Seasalt clothing, a Cornish company who have very good environmental and ethical standards - a lot of their range uses organic cotton, and they also manufacture quite innovative UK-made fabrics. I discovered them when browsing online for organic cotton clothes a few years ago, and was able to stock-up on a range of items when we were down in Penzance on holiday last year - they've tonnes of shops in the South West, but for the rest of us there's always the internet.

Look out for the wellies in my posts ...
